About this deal

You get the iconic, in-your-face ambroxan blast straight away in the opening. Within half an hour, it subsides to make space for a warmer mid-section with floral freshness from lavender and geranium. At the same time the coriander is accompanied by an intense and quite strong floral note, which brings a fine touch of fresh engine oil with itself, the closer one smells at the skin and from the violet comes.

It’s very similar to Aventus by Creed. I doubt 99% of people would be able to tell the difference. It’s about as close to an alternative as you can get, and represents great value for money. The conspicuous note has now built up completely and is nothing else than coriander, the discreet earthy note from the top note has passed completely and now smells intensely aromatic spicy. Like the other Armaf colognes I’ve tested, performance here is excellent at 5 -6 hours of scent. It doesn’t last as long as beasts Club de Nuit Man Intense, but it is inexpensive. The top note consists mainly of lemon and verbena and reminds me of southern France. A verbena tea with lemon, also as iced tea, was always welcome there to get through the midday heat, before changing to pastis and wine later.

Green Irish Tweet is for me one of the best Creed fragrances. I even thought about buying this one on sale. Somehow, something stopped me. I guess it was the DNA, which isn't quite one of my favorites. At least, there are just too many that would have gotten the nod. Grade in the price range. But I can recommend this Green Irish Tweet for those who like classic men's DNAs with a slight 80s charm. It is clearly more noble than Cool Water and already creates a lot of elegance and is rather something for seasoned men without playful allyren. Who likes the noble details should then but rather reach for the expensive Orginal.

Blue Homme is the perfumer’s warm-weather fragrance that costs considerably less than a flight to The Bahamas. Spring – the season of happiness and bloom begs for citrus, minty and basil-like notes. Think Tres Nuit. It’s crisp, fresh, and citrusy with notes of lemon, bergamot, mandarin orange, lime, and grapefruit. If I were to liken it to anything you may have tried before, it’s similar to Aqua Gio by Giorgio Armani. Unfortunately I could not perceive Iris, but I have to say that the top note is pleasantly "softened" without appearing powdery or even creamy and I can well imagine that the iris is responsible for this "softening".

Projection is in that perfect arms-length sweet spot. It leaves a nice scent trail as you walk for the first couple of hours, before becoming a skin scent for another 2 – 3 hours. The base becomes pleasantly creamy, also slightly spicy, which gives the fragrance a pleasant softness and comes from sandalwood. Beautiful green tea accords in the heart add a streak of vitality and natural earthiness to the blend. First you can notice an intense and refreshing herbaceous, pleasantly greenish aromatic note, which brings a nice cooling effect on the skin and is to be owed to the verbena. As the times passed, the firm's owners decided they were ready to share their aroma lines with the audience. In the beginning, the runners were focused on South Africa, since they knew the market well. Besides, their knowledge of the climate and the skin chemistry of people who resided there allowed them to come up with a perfect aroma that would suit most tastes and preferences. The musk and bergamot round out any sharpness for a powdery effect that makes Club de Nuit Intense Man smell way more expensive than it is. When I used Ventana Pour Homme, my first reaction was genuine laughter. I found it funny how close it was to Sauvage. It opens up with a burst of lemon and musk. Within 15 minutes you get a bit of smokiness, and the whole profile coming together smells reminiscent of deliciously grilled pineapple. Top Notes: Grapefruit, Bergamot, Neroli, Lemon, Mandarin Orange, Lime | Middle Notes: Rosemary, Lavender, Jasmine, Nutmeg | Base Notes: Oakmoss, Cedar, Amber, Patchouli, Vanilla, Musk | Size: 3.4oz | Type: Eau De Parfum | Season: Summer Despite the “intense” title, this note profile is relatively subtle and isn’t going to blow anyone’s head off. It’s pleasant and safe.

As such, make sure you only use 2-3 sprays if you’re going to be in an enclosed space like the office or public transport. Otherwise, you might risk offending those near you.The sandalwood is accompanied by a warming, balsamic nuance, which is discreetly waxy on the skin and provides a wonderful finish and comes from the ambergris. The longest-lasting Armaf cologne is Club de Nuit Intense Man. It lasts between 8 and 9 hours, which is plenty to carry you through a full workday or a party in the evening.
